Painting Models

Since I was a child my farther would buy model sets metal and plastic where you would build and paint them peace by peace and the end outcome was truly amazing. As I started getting a little older I started to collect “Warhammer” these are little figurines that you assemble and paint an army out of them, you can also build up surroundings and have battles with your friends. Now I’m a little older I have started to take the same path as my farther, collecting multiple planes and cars, painting, building and then touching them up to make them look like the perfect replica, it’s a hobby I’m sure I will stick with until the day I drop. Also it turns out this takes up my spare time nicely and I find it very therapeutic, time for me to relax and give me time to think also.

Then you have the other side where my farther loved watching F1 on TV every Saturday and Sunday like it was a religion. He also started to collect metal collectable F1 cars I think there was only so many sold and he has them all stashed away somewhere not even come out of the boxes yet. As you can see this passes down in the family I haven’t quite started collecting collectables like these yet, but I’m sure I will get onto that soon when I find the specific brand/models I like. My latest car model was a Mustang GT 500 1/8 size and had taken me about 3 months to complete it, but the end result is outstanding. You should all give it a go once see if you like building and painting models.
